Before coming to Tuck, Cedric worked as a manager for PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he conducted market trend and strategic analysis for the firm’s Research & Analytics group in Detroit, New York and Paris. His focus was mostly on the automotive, and consumer goods/retail sector. His expertise led him to advise senior industry executives in Europe, North and South America on global market trends. Prior to joining PwC, Cedric worked for Ducker Worldwide, a boutique consulting firm in the Metro Detroit area.

This summer, Cedric interned for Bruegger’s Enterprise where he worked on the launch of a new line of service, then worked for Celdara Medical, a biotechnology start-up in Lebanon NH, where he developed a growth strategy plan for the company’s CEO. In addition to leading the French MBA conference, Cedric is also one of the Tuckmasters and Automotive Club Co-Chairs. In his free time, Cedric is an avid runner and skier

Trained in France as an Engineer, Lionel decided to launch his career in China where he developed business for the famous French sporting goods retailer Decathlon. After two years in the Asia-Pacific region he was promoted to oversee operations’ quality and outsourcing for the Europe, Middle-East and Africa region. This summer Lionel interned with the in-house M&A team of the NSADAQ OMX group in New York. In his free time Lionel is passionate about skiing, scuba diving, reading about the international economy and learning foreign languages.

Thomas Park is a 2nd year student at the Tuck School of Business. Prior to Tuck, he worked as a corporate lawyer and overseas in the humanitarian and international law field in The Hague, Kosovo, and Cambodia. He holds law degrees from McGill University and an MPP from Harvard’s Kennedy School.

Christine is from Saint-Louis, Réunion. She earned a LL.M. in European Law and Economic Analysis at the College of Europe in Belgium in 2004. Prior to coming to Tuck, Christine worked in Paris at Paul, Hastings, Janofsky & Walker (Europe) LLP, a U.S. law firm with offices around the world. She advised clients ranging from multinationals to private equity firms in the fields of commercial and EU/antitrust laws. Most recently, Christine interned at Edun Americas Inc, Ali Hewson and Bono’s socially conscious clothing company where she recommended strategies to improve the company’s sustainability agenda and branding initiatives. At Tuck, she is a member of the Consulting, General Management, and Wine clubs in addition to Women in Business. She is also a student fellow at the Center for International Business. Despite having grown up in Reunion, a tropical island in the Indian Ocean, she loves the snow in New Hampshire and highly recommends Tuck Winter Carnival.

Astrid is a second year student from the Johnson School at Cornell. Prior to doing her MBA, she used to work as a financial auditor at KPMG for 4 years in the IT and entertainment sector. Then she had the opportunity to apply her skills as the financial manager of an NGO in Cambodia called Sok Sabay for a few months. Finally she spent a year at Capgemini as a management consultant in the energy and utility sector. While being at the Johnson School, she focuses on strategy and operations and is the co-president of the European club.

Marvena Edmond

Marvena Edmond holds a M.S. in Management and Policy with a concentration in Information Systems, from Stony Brook University, and a B.S. in computer engineering from The Pennsylvania State University. Before enrolling at the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth, Marvena was a Client Service Representative at Lehman Brothers, in the Capital Markets Prime Services Division. Prior to joining the Prime Services team, she was a Senior Business Analyst in the Investment Management Division, responsible for analyzing challenges faced by the various business units of the division, and identifying technical enhancements to address these challenges. During her tenure at Lehman Brothers, Marvena was actively involved in various philanthropic and diversity initiatives. At Tuck, Marvena remains active as a member of the Tuck African Ancestry Business Association, Finance, and Women in Business student clubs. She is exceptionally thrilled to be deeply involved in the planning of the French MBA Conference.

Prior to Tuck, Liz spent four years with Biogen Idec, a biotech company based in Cambridge, MA. As a manager in the Business Planning group, Liz was responsible for commercial revenue forecasts for the Neurology Business Unit and helped develop long range revenue plans for both the US and international markets. Before moving to Biogen Idec, Liz advised pharmaceutical clients on new product development strategy at Equinox Group, a healthcare-focused consulting firm.

John completed a BA and Masters at the University of Virginia. In 2001, he joined Appian, a startup technology consultancy, and over the next seven years helped grow the company into a successful software firm. An interest in consumer products and global brand strategy brought him to Tuck, and this past summer he worked in the Luxury Division of L'Oreal on the global marketing team for Ralph Lauren Fragrances. He is a Fellow for the Center for Digital Strategies and a Co-Chair for Marketing Club and the Tuck Automotive and Motorcycle Club.
