Top Tech Toys 2006
The center's favorite picks for "Top Tech Toys" for 2006 This list was developed by the center's MBA Fellows under the direction of center director M. Eric Johnson, who follows the toy industry. The toy selections cover all ages, from infant to adult. In describing the list, Tuck MBA Fellow Allan Hui commented, "We picked what we thought were the best new tech toys for various age groups based on the use of the technology and the play value." |

6 months and up - Fridge Farm Magnetic Animal Set (LeapFrog)
A happy animal matching game—not only are the songs fun, but the pieced are well designed for small fingers.
12 months and up - Elmo TMX (Fisher-Price)
At any age, this toy will make you laugh! Elmo's antics are just plain contagious.
2 to 4 years - Baby Alive (Hasbro)
Today's moms may remember her from the 1970s, but technology has made her more lifelike and fun.

A computer in a pen. Sounds easy to describe, but this marvelous little device has many features you just have to experience.
8 to 14 years - Test Tube Aliens (4Kidz)
Allows your kids to play the role of a scientist that hatches and grows aliens out of a test tube.
7 to 15 years - Nintendo DS Lite (Nintendo)
A great mobile gaming system for all ages. The games available are mostly family-friendly and sure to satisfy a variety of tastes.
