Private Equity Leadership Summit on Valuation
The Center for Private Equity and Entrepreneurship at the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth is hosting
its third conference for private equity practitioners and advisors regarding policy and practice in
portfolio valuation and financial reporting. The conference will be held Wednesday and Thursday, June 20th
and 21st, 2007. The event is by invitation only and will include panelists from leading industry associations
and the accounting industry.
This industry conference will take place on Dartmouth's campus in Hanover, New Hampshire and will begin on
Wednesday, June 20th with a dinner at the Hanover Inn. The following day participants will
take part in several panel sessions, a working lunch, afternoon panel discussions, and a closing
dinner that evening. For anyone interested in a round of golf, a golf outing is planned for Friday morning, June 22nd.

Second Annual Private Equity and Growth Ventures Conference
Private equity is a tight-knit industry, and one where relationships matter. Recognizing
this, the Center for Private Equity and Entrepreneurship along with the Private Equity Club at the Tuck
School of Business at Dartmouth will host the second annual Private Equity and Growth Ventures Conference.
This day-long event will educate Tuck students and alumni about relevant issues and trends in the
venture capital and buyout industries, and facilitate networking among leading private equity firms,
institutional investors, and growth companies.

Risk—Winning and Losing in Entrepreneurship
Greener Ventures presents its 5th annual conference at Tuck on
entrepreneurial excellence on Saturday, October 21st. The event will feature panelists who are successful
entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, attorneys, and academics. The conference theme will be Risk-Winning and
Losing in Entrepreneurship. We want to explore some of the aspects of risk - recognizing it, managing it,
and dealing with failure.
Greener Ventures 2006 is co-hosted by Tuck Center for Private Equity and Entrepreneurship and the Dartmouth
Entrepreneurial Network. The event will be held at Tuck School. Space is limited and registration is required.

Greener Ventures 2005
Greener Ventures is an annual conference on entrepreneurship for
students, faculty, researchers, alumni, and staff at Dartmouth and the
Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center. Aimed at encouraging entrepreneurial
activity among members of the Dartmouth community, this day-long event
brings nationally-recognized entrepreneurial leaders (many of whom are Tuck alumni)
to discuss pertinent topics and issues involved with entrepreneurial initiatives.
Greener Ventures 2005 was jointly organized by Tuck's Center for Private Equity and the
Dartmouth Entrepreneurial Network (DEN).

Limited Partnership Agreements Conference
The Center for Private Equity and Entrepreneurship
hosted an industry conference on LPA terms and conditions in Hanover, New
Hampshire. Following the precedent of the conference on private equity valuations,
held in the summer of 2003, this conference was a forum to bring together leading
private equity experts (including limited partners, general partners, lawyers,
academics, industry association representatives, and intermediaries) to discuss
terms and conditions and to provide input into the model LPA. Moreover, the
conference provided a forum for discussion of the LPA survey conducted by the
center and general trends in LPA terms and conditions.

Venture Capital, and Initial Public Offerings, in Hanover, New hampshire. The 2nd EVI Conference was held at the Berkley Center
for Entrepreneurial Studies at NYU Stern School of Business.

Private Equity Valuation and Performance Reporting Conference
Tuck's Center for Private Equity and Entrepreneurship hosted the "Private Equity Valuation and Performance
Reporting Conference" in Hanover, New Hampshire. The conference brought together over 45 key members from
industry associations, private equity funds, pension plans, banks, law firms and
accounting firms to discuss disclosure and transparency issues. The group addressed
the state of valuation guideline initiatives in North America and Europe and discussed
how to best move forward in the US.

Organized by Tuck's Center for Private Equity and Entrepreneurship, Dartmouth Entrepreneurial
Network (DEN), and sponsored by Borealis Ventures, Cook, Little, Rosenblatt & Manson, Career Services,
and Michael Gonnerman, Inc. Greener Ventures was held at the Tuck School on Saturday, April 6, 2002.
The conference featured a series of panels
that addressed two aspects of entrepreneurshipwhat it means
to be entrepreneurial and the nuts and bolts of being entrepreneurial.
Panelists included Fred Wainwright T'02, John Bello T'74, and Gregg
Fairbrothers D'76. The conference also included a business plan
competition with immediate feedback from a panel of judges.
