Institution Building
Dr King currently
serves on the board of the Alliance
for Research on Corporate Sustainability. For
more than a decade, he has been one of the leading sponsors
of research on business and the environment. While an
assistant professor at NYU, he created an organization to
support research on business
and the environment at the Stern School of
Business. After arriving at Tuck, he founded the Institute
for Scholarship on Industry Self-Regulation and helped
to found its decendent the Alliance
for Research on Corporate Sustainability.
In 2001, Dr. King was declared an Aspen
Institute Faculty Pioneer. The award was based
in large part on his contributions to building institutions
which support research on business and the environment.
To support research of all types, Andy also served served
in several officer roles for the College on
Organization Science from 2002 to 2006.
