These papers consider the relationship between international trade and the structure of economic activity including the location of industries, relative wage differences and plant closures.

B. Multi-Product Firms and Product Switching

These papers consider the choice of products by firms in response to changes in market structure.

C. Exporting, Productivity, and Firm Performance

These papers consider the relationship between selling overseas and various aspects of firm performance including productivity. Of particular interest is the question of causality between exporting and good firms outcomes.
