The Tuck Women's Hockey club brings over a hundred students, partners, and other members of the Tuck community together to enjoy the game of hockey. Members of Tuck Women's Hockey span the range from never having put on skates before to having played varsity hockey in college. Through skating drills, hockey drills, and games, we all have learned to enjoy hockey and the company of our fellow players.
In late September we take our first steps of the season on the ice. Throughout October and November, we gradually shift from an emphasis on drills towards an emphasis on scrimmaging. By December, everyone can skate and play. We're ready to join the Dartmouth Winter intramural league in January. The latter half of the season combines intra-Tuck and intra-Dartmouth hockey. The highlight of the season is our game against the Men's Tripod team for the annual Valentine's Day Massacre! We also play our Tuck alumni to keep them on their hockey toes. In late March, we hang up our skates until the next season.
Tuck Women's Hockey is active on the MBA tournament circuit! We go to
Michigan to play their business school team, we go to Montreal for a game
against Concordia, and we participate in the HBS tournament in March. We also
host our own well-attended Tuck MBA Hockey Tournament in February.
