Creative Career Moves That Work for You (Rosenwald)
For many women it can be an ongoing challenge to have a successful full time career and achieve their personal goals and commitments. Increasingly many women are not ending up in traditional full time, office-bound roles, but particularly in this economy, women are looking for ways to stay in the game. In this panel, we’ll hear from women who have engineered creative solutions to striking a balance, including freelancing and contracting, relocating and telecommuting, working a reduced schedule, and relying on a stay at home spouse.
Negotiations Workshop (Stoneman)
Whether asking for a salary increase, debating the terms for a complex deal or convincing a spouse to visit the in-laws, negotiations are a regular part of our daily lives. In this workshop, audience members will participate in a series of interactive role play scenarios with the goal of showing all of us how to walk out of negotiations as winners. Learn how to read situations correctly, avoid common pitfalls, and leverage your strengths to achieve mutually positive outcomes.

Owning your own business presents a distinct set of challenges and advantages for female entrepreneurs. This panel of successful women in different career stages will share their unique approaches to launching, funding, and leading startups. Our panelists will reflect on women and entrepreneurship, talking of their own experiences as women charting their own course.
