Though born and raised in Israel, Dafna has spent six years living and traveling abroad, including four years in The Netherlands as a child. Prior to Tuck she worked for an Israeli holding company, where she managed the issuance of asset backed securities, and later switched to credit risk management during the subprime lending crisis. She managed 15 people during her military service as a team leader in the IDF’s Intelligence Corps. During her service she lived on the military base, where she shared a room with seven girls. Consequently, she was thrilled to find out that her dorm room at Tuck was larger than her army service room and that it included a personal bathroom and cleaning services. Dafna is an avid ice-skater/ tripod hockey player, she hopes to start ice skating and stop falling by Fall A 2011.
