Resources

HASA is committed to encouraging Hispanic and Latinos to apply and matriculate to Tuck. In order to assist potential applicants on learning about our Tuck experience, HASA members frequently host students during their visit to campus. HASA is also active in planning and participating in Tuck’s Annual Diversity Conference. The Diversity Conference is held in November and Tuck invites over 100 MBA applicants and numerous dignitaries to campus for a weekend of informational seminars and a chance to experience Tuck in its finest form.

There are many organizations to assist underrepresented minorities; below are some of the organizations that current and past Tuck students are active members:

Consortium for Graduate Study in Management

As a member of the Consortium for Graduate Study in Management, Tuck also awards full-tuition merit-based scholarships to outstanding admitted U.S. minority candidates who are part of underrepresented minority groups (African American, Native American, and Hispanic American citizens). These awards are based on academic record, work experience, and proven leadership.

Management Leadership for Tomorrow

MLT is an MBA Preparation program is to help young professionals successfully apply to leading graduate business schools. Over a 12-month period, participants receive one-on-one coaching from MLT staff and current and former MBA Admissions Officers, as well as attend seminars focusing on key elements of the application process.

The Robert Toigo Foundation

The Robert A. Toigo Foundation is dedicated to increasing opportunities for underrepresented minorities in the investment community. The foundation provides merit scholarships of $5,000 per year as well as mentoring to MBA students at some of America's most prestigious universities. The foundation is supported by firms and individuals in the financial services arena, including investment managers, consultants, brokers/dealers, banks, and insurance and real estate investment firms. Donors select recipients, and a letter of confirmation is then mailed by Tuck to the recipients.

National Society of Hispanic MBAs

NSHMBA serves 28 chapters and 6,000 members in the U.S. and Puerto Rico. NSHMBA also hosts Hobson’s MBA Central, which is a unique repository of information and tools to assist applicants in choosing, applying and funding your MBA program.

MBA JumpStart

The program strives to bridge the gap between minority talent entering top business schools and firms actively seeking to increase minority representation.

mbadiversity.org
