DON CREIGHTON
Assistant Director, Global Policy, Pfizer, Inc.

Mr. Don Creighton has a unique breadth of knowledge of both US and international healthcare systems. 

He has over 9 years of healthcare-related experience, which spans industry, consulting and academic research.  Currently, Don is responsible for developing positions and evidence on a broad array of health policy and access issues, both in- and above-market.  This entails working closely with product teams, global pricing and reimbursement, outcomes research, public affairs and country affiliates to understand and respond appropriately to the relevant issues in the marketplace.  He is a member of a number of committees including Pfizer’s HIV Global Steering Committee and PhRMA’s International Organization and Issues Committee.

Previous to Pfizer, Don worked at Cambridge-Pharma Consultancy (now IMS), advising biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies on product commercialization, pricing and reimbursement and health reform policy.  He has also worked for the political risk insurance arm of the World Bank, the Multilateral Investment Guarantee Agency (MIGA).

Don earned a Master’s in International Management from Thunderbird, the Garvin School of International Management, and Bachelors’ in Biochemistry/Biophysics and Philosophy from the University of Pittsburgh.
