September – December:
- Start reading up on the industry - industry publications and company websites can provide important information to help you decide which area of the industry most intrigues you.
- Talk to second years who are working in the industry and those in your class who worked in the industry before Tuck to get advice and input.
- Attend the Media and Entertainment Club events.
- Finalize your resume for the Tuck resume book.
- Attend the treks to New York and / or Los Angeles.
- Make contact with a few alums in the industry to get their advice.
January – March
- Keep learning about the industry by reading publications and decide which area most interests you.
- Network with more alums.
- Ask people to help you review your resume and cover letters.
- Practice interviewing.
- Start applying to jobs that are posted.
April – May
- Keep applying to jobs and interviewing.
- Use your network of alums and classmates to keep expanding your network and making more contacts.
