The Tuck Consulting Club is a student-run organization dedicated to enabling its members to successfully secure opportunities in management and strategy consulting. Towards this objective, we provide support and guidance to help members make the right career choices, provide them resources to help with case and behavioral interview preparation, and organize various activities including the recruiting trip to Boston and New York.
The club has a number of events and activities planned for the 2007-2008 school year including:
- Hosting a career panel discussion with recent Tuck graduates working in consulting jobs. This panel provides students with the opportunity to talk informally with current consultants about working in this exciting industry.
- Offering a mini-course on case interviewing frameworks and methodologies. This course, taught by second-year students, will help first-year students become more familiar with the tools needed to excel during case interviews.
- Organizing a trip to Boston and New York over the fall break to visit both generalist and boutique consulting firms. The trip has been a huge success in past years, and very helpful in trying to understand which firm would be best for you.
- Updating the club's case book.
- Offering a review mini-course on case interviewing frameworks and methodologies. This course, taught by second-year students, will help second-year students brush up on the tools needed to excel during case interviews.
- Sponsoring a number of other events aimed at helping first-year students prepare for consulting interviews, including résumé reviews, mock interviews, and brown bag lunches with second-year students to discuss specific companies.
- Inviting business leaders to Tuck to meet with students and discuss current trends and issues in the consulting industry.
