1pm - 3:30pm: Optional practice runs at Dartmouth Skiway
- Individuals will need to purchase 1/2 day ski passes ($20)
3pm - 5pm: Snow Sculpture Competition - Tuck Circle
- Prizes will be awarded for the best sculptures
4pm - 8pm: Welcome & Registration - Conway Foyer
- Only Captains need to register
- You MUST pick up event packs w/ Wristbands (for entry to all events)
- Confirm final team lists (skiers, Kneissl, hotdog)
4:30 - 6:30pm: Winter Carnival Tuck Tails in Stell Hall
- Welcoming all competitors and spectators
- Drinks and appetizers served
- Raffle tickets for sale
6:30 - 7pm: Mandatory Captain's Meeting - Classroom TBD
- Mandatory event logistics overview
6:30 - 8:30pm: Downtime/Break for dinner
- Chance to go grab dinner before the big party starts!
9pm - 1am: Kick-off Party!
- Blue wristband and ID REQUIRED (US-issued, NO EXCEPTIONS!)
- Dress in your best 80s ski gear!
- Beer provided; cash bar available
- Live music featuring killer 80s band, "The
Awesome"
Saturday, February 20, 2010
8am: Racer check-in at the Dartmouth Skiway, Lyme, NH
- Teams arrive at the Skiway to check-in and preview the course
- Breakfast provided to all racers and registered fans
9am - 12pm: First Runs at the Dartmouth Skiway
- All teams compete (helmets required) in the first of two runs
- Note: we will be looking for creative costumes!
12pm - 1pm: Lunch at the Dartmouth Skiway
- Boloco burritos and beverages provided to skiers, volunteers and registered fans
1pm - 3pm: Afternoon Runs, all teams - Dartmouth Skiway
- 1pm: Start of the final run - All teams compete (helmets required)
Throughout the Day:
- DJ will be spinning
beats
- Dramatic ski & snowboard action
3pm - 3:30pm: 3rd Annnual Hot Dog Eating Contest
- Special prize for champion
3pm - 5pm: Apres Ski Party - Dartmouth Skiway Lodge
- Beer and food provided to racers, volunteers and registered fans
7pm - 9pm: Post Race Dinner Banquet (Club Electra, West Lebanon, NH)
- Awards dinner for racers only
Note: You must have a racer wristband to gain access
9pm - 1am: Winter Carnival Final Party (Club Electra, West Lebanon, NH)
- Winter Carnival Party for all skiers
& registered fans
- DJ Rockin Lou Mucci spinning great tunes
- Free beer and cash bar
- Kneissl Cup boat races begin at approximately 9:30pm
