Can We Innovate Our Way Out?

The collective role of the public and private sectors in driving long-term growth

Conference Overview:

Tuck’s Business & Society Conference (BSC) has been a leading graduate student-run forum on business responsibility and the social context for business since 2002.  It serves as a platform for conversation between current and future business leaders, and is attended by a majority of our student body as well as business leaders from around the world.  This year’s conference will take place Thursday and Friday, February 10th and 11th, 2011.

2011 Topic: “Can We Innovate Our Way Out?”

Our 9th annual conference theme will focus on the present-day challenges of fostering economic innovation and growth through coordinated efforts between business and government leadership.  Specific conference sessions will focus on the collective role of the public and private sectors in creating jobs, managing systemic financial risk, fueling innovation in the energy industry, improving public education, and increasing corporate sustainability.
