Paganucci Fellows Program Frequently Asked Questions

1. Is the program open to all Dartmouth students?

To apply for the program, Dartmouth students must be in active status and in good academic and disciplinary standing. The program is aimed at students finishing their junior year, but we will accept applications from freshmen and seniors. We will not be able to consider any student required to be on campus for their sophomore summer.

2. Can a student be taking classes while a Fellow?

No, as it may prevent full participation in the program.

3. Is the summer a full time position?

Yes. Typically Fellows work Monday through Friday for a full 40 hours per week but the time and days may vary during deadlines.

4. How long is the program?

The program runs for 10 weeks and will begin approximately June 22.

5. Can you offer housing?

Fellows are responsible to secure their own housing for the summer.

6. When will you be conducting interviews?

Interviews will be conducted the first week of the term. If we are interested in an applicant that will be off campus spring term, we will contact you to interview with us via phone.

7. When will offers be made?

We will make offers on a rolling basis throughout the month of April.

8. What is the salary?

Fellows will be paid $5,000.

9. Are there any opportunities connected to the Paganucci Fellows Program beyond the summer?

We expect that there will be ongoing opportunities for Fellows to continue their work in some capacity.

10. May I contact one of the Fellows from last summer to ask about the program?

Certainly, feel free to blitz: Jon Merten or Annie Rittgers.
