Renee  Acosta visited the Tuck School as a guest speaker in Professor Margaret Hanson’s Business-Social Sector Partnerships class.  She describes to Jeff Davidson T’10 how she manages partnerships with U.S. corporations who want to offer their employees a way of responding to humanitarian crises.

Global Impact, with $130 million in annual revenue, is a non-profit organization that specializes in raising funds for humanitarian organizations that provide aid throughout the developing world. In its more than half-century of existence, it has raised more than a billion dollars to assist people in desperate need. It has been at the forefront in innovating mechanisms that allow individuals, corporations and communities to channel resources rapidly, efficiently and effectively to those who need it most.
