Working in close partnership with the Tuck Career Development Office, the Allwin Initiative supports students interested in careers with a social and environmental focus. Students can gain experience, whether they wish to secure a position in a socially responsible company, work for a foundation, or apply business knowledge to the nonprofit sector. Tuck students have taken internships at organizations such as AmeriCares, Medicines for Malaria, The US National Parks, the XPrize Foundation , and The Wildnerness Society . Alumni can be found in nonprofit positions at CityYear, Inc., Cinncinati Childrens Hospital, The Gates Foundation, the Robin Hood Foundation, and USAID. In the summer of '07, Michael Wilson T'08 worked for the Philadelphia Industrial Development Corporation, a private not-for-profit corporation charged with stimulating economic development in Philadelphia.
