Career
Working in close partnership with the Tuck Career Development Office, the Allwin Initiative supports students interested in careers with a social and environmental focus. Students can gain experience, whether they wish to secure a position in a socially responsible company, work for a foundation, or apply business knowledge to the public or nonprofit sectors.
Tuck Nonprofit and Public Sector Internship Fund (Tuck GIVES)
In 1996, two Tuck students created a fund to support their classmates who were planning to enter nonprofit or public sector summer internships. Each year since, the Tuck community has gathered to support internships in these areas. Over the past nine years, Tuck has sent 102 interns to work in 61 different organizations. The 9th annual auction, a fun and festive event held by Tuck students, raised over $49,000 in April, 2009. [press release with slide show].

Tuck Nonprofit Fellowships
This program provides financial assistance, mentoring, and networking support to graduating Tuck students who take a position working with a qualifying nonprofit or public sector organization. It can be compared to a loan forgiveness program. Recipients have used it to pay off loans as well as provide needed cash to transition to their new job. Click here for details of the program.
