Emerging Innovations in Healthcare Delivery

Annual global spending on healthcare is estimated to be approximately $5.5 Trillion, or about 9% of world GDP. Despite this huge annual spending, models of healthcare around the world remain suboptimal, resulting in high cost and poor outcomes. Given India's diversity, income inequality, and limited accessibility, the challenges of healthcare delivery are rendered even more daunting. Such challenges are being met with tremendous innovation in the systemic delivery of healthcare - oriented towards improving quality, enhancing accessibility and reducing costs. This panel will focus on ideas and innovations from India that have the potential to help transform the paradigms in which healthcare is delivered around the world.
