The economic tumult of the last two years has brought additional fragility to the many interdependencies of global supply chains. Given this backdrop, the roundtable focused on preparing for the emerging set of global supply chain challenges, with special focus on risks inherent in current low-cost country human resources, services, material, and product sourcing.

Just in time for the new school year, the Center for Digital Strategies released its updated case catalog packed with exciting new teaching cases. The Vincent L. LaCorte Case Series includes case studies that illustrate how digital strategies can enable the supply chain, services, marketing, manufacturing, innovation, and product development. Joel Hyatt, CEO and Co-Founder, Current TV, shares how the online and cable network he founded with former Vice President Al Gore Jr., has attracted more than 60 million subscribers and a variety of broadcast journalism awards. Current has a team of investigative journalists covering news around the world for distribution online as well as on cable television. The company, which employs 400, is profitable and growing. Hyatt, D’72, a successful entrepreneur and Stanford University business professor, is interviewed by Phil DeGisi, T’09, a Center for Digital Strategies MBA Fellow.
