CIB Fellows

Every academic year, the Center for International Business appoints several CIB Fellows to become part of the CIB team for a year.

Responsibilities

CIB Fellows are primarily responsible for completing a research project on a global business topic under the supervision of Professor Andrew Bernard. In addition, Fellows host and interview CIB speakers, who are typically senior-level business executives with extensive international experience. Past speakers include Dr. Lola Dare, CEO of CHESTRAD and Executive Secretary of ACOSHED in Nigeria; David Wessel, Pulitzer Prize Winner and Economics Editor for the Wall Street Journal; and Stephen Propper, Assistant Treasurer for Merck.

Fellows also help to plan and implement CIB-organized conferences, such as the annual Tuck Global Capital Markets Conference. Involvement in such events provides additional opportunities to learn about global business and network with experienced executives.

Our fellows for the 2009-08 academic year are:

Hyeon Chang
Christine Lio-Soon-Shun
Mauricio Sartori
Stone Shi
Suds Tirumala
Yoko Warita
Drew Wilkins

Application Process:

The CIB announces a call for Fellows applications each year and conducts interviews during the spring term. For questions about the Fellows program or application process, please e-mail Lisa Miller at lisa.miller@tuck.dartmouth.edu.
