Susan Knapp

Marketing and Communications Specialist, Center for International Business, Tuck School

Before joining the Center for International Business in August 2010, Susan was the science writer for Dartmouth College’s Office of Public Affairs for 9 years. She wrote about and publicized numerous faculty research studies, student projects, and institutional initiatives. Her writing has been published in several Dartmouth newsletters and magazines, and she was part of the team that created Dartmouth’s comprehensive online news and features website called Dartmouth Now.  As a publicist, Susan placed stories in major media outlets, regionally, nationally, and internationally. She also pioneered the Public Affairs podcast series and was the Office of Public Affairs’ inaugural Tweeter.  

A native Vermonter, Susan worked in public relations at the New England Aquarium in Boston, Mass., from 1989-2000 before coming to Dartmouth.  She holds a BA from Wheaton College in Norton, Mass., where she majored in American studies with a minor concentration in biology.
