CalPERS. The California Public Employees' Retirement System is the nation's largest pension system and a pioneer in the field of corporate governance. Its site includes speeches, press releases, national and international codes of principles, its focus list of companies targeted for activist measures, and a list of votes taken at CalPERS 100 largest portfolio companies.

International Corporate Governance Network (ICGN). The ICGN promotes corporate governance principles around the world by providing a network for the exchange of views and information about corporate governance issues. Founded primarily by pension funds, current members also include other financial institutions, companies, and corporate governance experts. The world's largest pension fund and a leader in shareholder activism, TIAA-CREF acknowledges a responsibility to be an advocate for improved corporate governance and performance discipline.
