The Center for Corporate Governance was created by Professor B. Espen Eckbo to promote research and debate on key corporate governance issues. It was funded by an anonymous gift to the Tuck School and launched in July 2000 with a conference on contemporary corporate governance issues, held at Tuck. This launch event drew top academic researchers in the corporate governance field from around the world and examined 20 academic papers.
